PSquare Engineering provides Certified Professional services in participating British Columbia municipalities, supporting complex building projects from early code review through permitting, construction and occupancy.

What is a Certified Professional?
The Certified Professional Program provides an enhanced building permit review and coordination process in participating municipalities. PSquare coordinates the applicable Building Code review, CP submissions and municipal requirements with the project team and the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
CP responsibilities and submission requirements are established for each project under the applicable municipal procedures. Design professionals and contractors retain their respective project responsibilities.
When to involve a CP
Involve a CP during early planning so the project team can confirm the permitting approach, identify code issues and coordinate the information needed for submissions.
How We Support Delivery
Design Review
Review applicable Building Code and fire/life safety considerations and coordinate code-related questions with architects, engineers and owners.
Permit Coordination
Coordinate CP submission requirements and supporting documentation with the project team and municipality, and respond to code review comments.
Construction-Stage CP Services
Provide applicable CP field reviews, coordinate with consultants and address code-related questions that arise during construction.
Occupancy Coordination
Coordinate applicable CP closeout documentation and code-related occupancy requirements with the project team and municipality.
