Peter Hosseini, P.Eng., CP, PMP

Peter Hosseini is a Principal Engineer and co-founder of PSquare Engineering & Construction Ltd., where he leads the firm’s Code Consulting division and oversees delivery on complex permitting and compliance workflows. With 15+ years of experience, he specializes in guiding projects through the BC Building Code and Vancouver Building By-law, ensuring smooth approvals and safe, code-compliant designs. His leadership blends strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving for clients across British Columbia.

Peter holds both a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Construction Management from the University of British Columbia. He has also completed the Certified Professional (AIBC/EGBC) program and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. His project experience spans a wide spectrum, including townhouse communities, mid-rise and high-rise mixed-use towers, senior care facilities, and industrial developments. He is particularly known for his ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder teams and streamline approvals in municipalities that offer the CP program.

Peter’s approach is collaborative, treating each project as if it were his own and ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally. Clients value his proactive communication and clarity under pressure. Outside the office, Peter holds a pilot’s license and enjoys flying, motorbiking, and skiing.
