Payman Hosseini, P.Eng., Struct. Eng., CP

Payman Hosseini is a Principal Engineer and co-founder of PSquare Engineering & Construction Ltd. With more than 15 years of experience, he specializes in structural engineering, project management, and code consulting, while also managing the firm’s overall operations. His work includes structural design for new developments as well as seismic assessment, retrofits, and structural rehabilitation.

Payman holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the University of British Columbia, and he has completed the Certified Professional (AIBC/EGBC) program. His project portfolio covers residential townhouse communities, mid-rise and mixed-use towers, institutional facilities, and industrial structures. In addition, Payman has extensive experience in forensic engineering, investigating building failures caused by fire, impacts, weather, and structural deficiencies. He has provided expert support on insurance and legal files, including cause-and-origin assessments, remediation design, and repair oversight.

Known for his service-oriented approach, Payman treats every client’s project with responsiveness and care. He thrives on solving complex engineering challenges through collaboration with architects, consultants, and contractors. Beyond his professional work, Payman enjoys biking, skiing, and spending time with his children. His personal motto: “This too shall pass.”
